Farmhouse

This is the house my dad grew up in, in Western Kansas. My grandparents still lived there when I was little, and I remember thinking how HUGE the house was. They sold the farm to my Uncle Earl, who still runs it. Earl moved into town, though, as the house was literally starting to split into two. See, at one point, Grandpa and some of the locals had moved a barn up next to the house and just, you know, made it part of the house. They had eight kids, and the house at the time just didn't hold ten people.

Going there again a few months back, seeing the house all empty and coming apart at the seams, I still don't think it was big enough for ten freaking people, no matter how young some of them may have been.

Anyway, it was neat immortalizing the house like this.
