Site Update

The Illustration and Paint galleries have been updated. Nothing new for followers of the blog, but it's still nice having them all in one spot.

Site Update Is Go!

I just messed around with the front page and added a gallery section for my paintings. Web design am fun. I shouldn't complain, though. I just deposited my first check for a freelance web design gig, that's led to two more. As in, they came to me, not the other way around. That's pretty Airwolf.

Designed by yours truly. I was happy with the design element at the top. The client was very specific about wanting to get a lot of information across about their company, having it very image-oriented, and also having that contact interface, all on one page. Plus, I hate Flash, so I didn't want to use that or some funky Java code.

Being the minimalist that I am, I came up with the idea of having a mouse-over code that would put that transluscent color over the picture with the white info-text. Killed a whole flock of birds with one stone, eh?
